The Role

This role of Entertainment Executive will be responsible for growing the entertainment categories through effective inventory management using sales channels across the UK and Europe, and ensuring effective promotion through all available channels in order to meet and exceed sales targets.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Ticketing and will be responsible for inventory management, packaging, client support and account management across our Entertainment ticketing business.
This is a great opportunity to work in one of the most dynamic departments in where the emphasis is on having a good time whilst delivering consistently good results.

Key Responsibilities will include
  • To support in the management of entertainment ticket allocations on entertainment platforms ensuring that allocations never run low/out
  • Supporting the Head of Ticketing with event set-up and allocation management for dated & long running events
  • Check all pricing and product descriptions on the site for accuracy
  • Undertake competitor analysis
  • Providing sales reports on principle tickets to senior management and finance personnel
  • Liaising with venues on all issues relating to additional allocations, marking back tickets, providing ad hoc reports as necessary and ensuring venues are kept informed of all decisions that may affect operational procedure
  • Ensuring packages are topped up and refreshed as required
  • Liaising with the Trade Desk to help resolve escalated customer service issues. Also ensuring that the Trade Desk has all relevant information relating to products set up on the site
  • To establish and maintain strong relationships with all entertainment suppliers across the UK
  • To ensure that all deal sheets and contracts are accurately filed and can be easily referenced as required
  • To ensure that the event set-up team are provided with accurate information about allocations when setting up and making amendments to event
  • Being the escalated point of contact for venues and agencies
  • Keep an updated contact sheet for all entertainment suppliers
  • Liaising with marketing team to ensure accurate and up to date information is provided for merchandising across multiple channels including CRM, site, affiliates, PPC and brand
  • Maximising opportunities to increase margin where possible
  • To support the Head of Ticketing in running campaigns
  • Attend meetings with suppliers when appropriate
  • Attend events and conferences where appropriate and represent in a positive and professional manner
Skills and Experience - specialist technical knowledge
  • Passion and knowledge of Entertainment and Attractions industries
  • Confident, outgoing and organised person with impeccable attention to detail.
  • Proven experience of working within the area of attractions, tourism, experiences or entertainment industries is essential
  • Sound negotiation skills
  • Sound commercial sense and highly numerate with good analytical skills
  • Excellent computer skills including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Excellent relationship building skills within Live Entertainment, Attractions, Experiences and Ticketing industries

  • Thorough and meticulous with extreme attention to detail
